Ohio’s Hospice is hiring a part-time Personal Care Specialist to provide hands-on personal care, comfort, and companionship to patients in the inpatient unit at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. The role supports families, observes and documents patient changes, communicates concerns to the care team, and collaborates with nurses, physicians, social workers, chaplains, and other hospice staff. The schedule is approximately 24 hours per week, 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with rotating every-third-weekend shifts.
