Skövde Municipality is establishing a Personal Ombudsman service for people over 18 with extensive and long-term mental disabilities. Two permanent positions are available, with a start date by agreement. The role supports individuals in expressing their needs, contacting agencies and care providers, attending meetings, understanding decisions, accessing public information, and identifying welfare-system shortcomings. It also involves developing working methods, collaboration, and awareness among stakeholders, along with home visits and visits to other locations. Applicants need higher-education eligibility, relevant education, experience with the target group, knowledge of support structures, Swedish communication skills, and a category B driver's license.
