VON Canada is hiring a permanent part-time Personal Support Worker (PSW) for its Home Support program in Belleville and Trenton, Ontario. The role provides person-centred in-home care, including personal care, mobility assistance, meal preparation, light housekeeping, respite care, safety monitoring, care-plan support, and collaboration with healthcare teams. Candidates need PSW or Developmental Services Worker certification, or qualifying nursing education, plus first aid/CPR, a driver's licence, personal vehicle, vehicle insurance, criminal records check, and ability to use PPE. The position involves travel between clients' homes and physical activities such as lifting, bending, kneeling, walking, standing, and stair climbing.
