The role supports residents with daily living activities, transfers, bathing, feeding, mobility, nutrition, and personal care; collaborates with registered practical nurses and care teams; completes care documentation; participates in shift reports and care planning; and may contribute to specialized programs such as behavioural supports, rehabilitation, or quality improvement. Applicants must have Personal Support Worker or Health Care Aide certification, a Vulnerable Sector Screening check completed within the past six months, and a TB 2 Step test updated within the last year.
