COSTI is hiring a Personal Support Worker to provide client-centered care at its Senior Day Program. The role includes personal care such as toileting, lifting and transfers, feeding, mobility assistance, escorting participants, meal support, recreational engagement, equipment cleaning, safety monitoring, and collaboration with the client care team. Applicants need a Personal Support Worker diploma or certificate, at least one year of experience caring for seniors in a group setting, Ontario PSW Registry standing where required, knowledge of dementia care and applicable long-term-care regulations, current WHMIS, First Aid, and Food Handling certificates or willingness to obtain them, and a recent Vulnerable Sector Screening. Italian or Spanish fluency and familiarity with those cultures are preferred. The position is scheduled for 35 hours per week and pays $47,809.75–$50,123.76 annually plus benefits.
