Description
The Personal Trainer develops and implements individualized fitness programs for clients, including one-on-one and small-group instruction, fitness assessments, nutrition guidance, cardiovascular and strength training, and goal-oriented programming. The role also involves client consultations, paperwork, club policy enforcement, teamwork, revenue tracking, and fitness workshops. Applicants need a nationally accredited personal training certification, fitness and health knowledge, CPR/AED certification, and strong communication and customer-service skills; a bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred. Compensation is based on billed training sessions with a 50% commission, with an average $80 per hour and minimum-wage pay for non-session time.
