Description
The Personal Trainer supports the YMCA’s wellness programs by developing and implementing health and well-being events, administering fitness assessments and health documentation, greeting members, instructing safe exercise and equipment use, maintaining the wellness floor, tracking wellness appointments, and responding to emergencies. The role requires two years of college or related work experience, one to three years of fitness instruction or personal training experience, and a National Accredited Personal Training closed-book certification; a bachelor’s degree in exercise science, physical education, or a related field is preferred. The position pays $19.67 per hour and offers flexible scheduling, free membership, paid sick time, child watch services, and a retirement plan.
