Description
The PFAS Communications Coordinator will serve as a central communications hub for PFAS-related research, outreach, and initiatives across the University of Maine and support the federal PFAS Center of Excellence. The role coordinates information across colleges, Cooperative Extension, research groups, and external partners; manages websites and information; supports strategic communications; and ensures timely, accurate, and regulated messaging. It requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, communication and project-management skills, experience with websites, higher education or research communication, and stakeholder coordination. The typical hiring range is $65,000 to $70,000, and applications were due by 4:30 p.m. EST on October 9, 2026.
