Description
The Public Health Advisor, L1 works in a Quickie Lab and reports to the Express Clinic Supervisor. Responsibilities include managing collection rooms, disinfecting surfaces, performing HIV rapid INSTI tests, providing test results, preparing specimen kits, delivering specimens, answering patient questions, reviewing visit reasons, and providing confidential counseling and referrals for STI, HIV, or COVID diagnoses. The role requires a baccalaureate degree or equivalent education and experience, phlebotomy or other procedure training where applicable, and an annual health assessment.
