The role supervises pharmaceutical production, including oncology compounding, while ensuring compliance with legal and technical standards, managing and training pharmacists, organizing production workflows, maintaining quality and safety systems, investigating deviations, and supporting audits and equipment operations. It requires a postgraduate degree in oncology, hospital pharmacy, quality management, or a related field, along with experience in oncology compounding centers, regulatory inspections, continuous improvement, and computerized prescription and production-control systems.
