Description
The Clinical Pharmacist provides pharmaceutical care in an acute-care pharmacy by reviewing prescriptions, assessing medication appropriateness, preparing and dispensing medications, managing inventory, monitoring drug therapy, educating patients and healthcare professionals, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. The role requires a pharmacy degree, a California Board of Pharmacy license, and preferably acute-care hospital experience; it is scheduled per diem and reports to the Director-Pharmacy.
