Description
Canyon Vista Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, is hiring a part-time Pharmacist to provide inpatient and outpatient pharmaceutical care. The role includes reviewing and verifying medication orders, managing drug therapy protocols, identifying and resolving medication-related problems, educating healthcare staff and patients, checking technician-prepared medications, using pharmacy automation systems, and managing an outpatient anticoagulation clinic. Applicants must hold a doctorate degree, a current state Board of Pharmacy license, and BLS certification; ACLS is preferred. The schedule consists of varied 8–10 hour shifts with one weekly night on-call assignment and occasional weekends or holidays.
