Description
The Level II Pharmacist is a transitional pharmacy role providing prescribed pharmaceuticals, medication-order verification, pharmacy management, injectable chemotherapy preparation, medication therapy management, patient and provider education, safety monitoring, and training of pharmacy personnel. The position requires a pharmacy bachelor's degree, completion of a PGY-1 residency or three years of hospital experience, internal advancement from Level I, and a registered pharmacist license upon hire. It is a full-time 35-hour weekly role working seven days on and seven days off from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. in 10-hour shifts, with comprehensive health benefits, retirement savings, paid time off, education assistance, and expanded paid parental leave.
