Description
The Level I Pharmacist provides prescribed pharmaceuticals and drug information for patient care, including medication-order verification, pharmacy management, injectable chemotherapy preparation, compounding, controlled-substance reconciliation, medication therapy management, patient and provider education, and medication-event monitoring. The role requires a bachelor's degree in pharmacy, completion of a five-year pharmacy program, and a registered pharmacist license upon hire; less than one year of hospital experience is preferred. The position is full-time, 35 hours weekly, with seven-day-on, seven-day-off scheduling from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. in 10-hour shifts, and includes health benefits, retirement savings, paid time off, education assistance, and expanded paid parental leave.
