Description
The Pharmacist verifies and fills medication orders, monitors patient medication therapies, provides drug information, identifies and troubleshoots medication safety hazards, documents interactions, and supervises support personnel. The role also manages medication utilization reports, participates in clinical rounds and medication-management programs, supports cost savings and procurement, and contributes to process improvement. A pharmacy-school graduate and state pharmacist license are required; a PharmD, technical experience, and inpatient clinical pharmacy experience are preferred.
