Description
The Pharmacy Intern supports a pharmacy department by providing customer service, answering product questions, counseling customers, recommending over-the-counter medications, processing prescriptions, contacting prescribers and insurance companies, bagging and delivering prescriptions, and maintaining department cleanliness and safety. The role also includes immunizations under pharmacist supervision, inventory checks, stocking, and reporting safety or prescription incidents. Applicants must be actively enrolled in a United States school of pharmacy and hold a current state-issued Pharmacy Intern license.
