Description
The Local Specialty Pharmacy Manager oversees daily pharmacy operations, prescription filling and verification, clinical patient management, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, pharmacy sales, inventory, cash and equipment management, and customer service. The role supervises pharmacy team members, ensures proper licensure and training, maintains relationships with physicians and specialty pharmacy staff, and manages third-party pharmacy systems. It requires a pharmacy degree, a current pharmacist license or willingness to obtain one within one year, at least one year of pharmacy experience, and specialized training or practical experience in relevant disease states.
