LA Health Services is hiring a Registered Pharmacist for a non-competitive examination opportunity. The role provides professional pharmacy services in hospital, clinic, correctional, or other healthcare settings; screens prescriptions; selects and dispenses medications; prepares solutions; monitors patient drug therapy; instructs patients; and supervises pharmacy technicians and interns. Applicants must hold an active, unrestricted California Registered Pharmacist license and a valid California Class C driver license or alternative transportation. One year of Registered Pharmacist experience and successful completion of a pharmacy residency are desirable. The eligible register will be used to fill Department of Health Services vacancies throughout Los Angeles County.
