Description
The Pharmacist will ensure the safe and appropriate distribution and use of pharmaceuticals throughout Stony Brook Eastern Long Island Hospital, including monitoring drug use, checking interactions and dosages, preparing sterile products, maintaining controlled-substance inventories, and providing medication information to staff and patients. The role requires a pharmacy degree, a New York State pharmacy license and registration, knowledge of dispensing systems and sterile compounding, and the ability to work by shift. The position is based at Stony Brook Eastern Long Island Hospital in Stony Brook, New York.
