Venesco LLC is hiring a Pharmacovigilance Physician in Fort Detrick, Maryland to provide medical oversight and clinical expertise for safety surveillance and pharmacovigilance activities. The role includes medical review of adverse events, causality and expectedness assessments, benefit-risk evaluation, signal detection, expedited regulatory reporting, participation in safety committees and DSMBs, review of clinical trial documents, and contribution to IND safety reports, annual reports, DSURs, and other safety communications. Candidates must be board certified physicians with an MD, an unrestricted U.S. medical license, at least 10 years of clinical or pharmaceutical industry experience, and strong knowledge of FDA and ICH pharmacovigilance requirements.
