Description
The Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant works alongside pharmacists in a store pharmacy to label, assemble, and dispense prescribed medicines, perform accuracy checks, support customer medication safety, and deliver in-store health services. The role reports to the Pharmacy Manager or Pharmacist, follows pharmacy procedures and stock-management routines, and requires an approved dispensing qualification, progress toward GPhC registration as a pharmacy technician, a caring customer-focused attitude, and flexible shift availability including weekends.
