Description
The Pharmacy Manager oversees daily pharmacy operations at Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Center, supervising pharmacy technicians, staff pharmacists, students, and residents. The role includes staffing and hiring recommendations, performance evaluations, training, prescription verification, patient counseling, medication therapy management, drug-reporting and regulatory compliance, clinical question resolution, and coordination with physicians and pharmacy staff. The position requires a registered Oregon pharmacist, a B.S. or Pharm.D. degree, preceptor registration, and current Basic Life Support certification; two years of staff pharmacist experience and prior PIC experience are desirable.
