Description
The Pharmacy Technician prepares, packages, and labels IV and unit-dose medications; performs mathematical calculations; maintains a sterile environment; delivers medications to patient-care areas; processes controlled substances; and returns unused or expired medications. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, Michigan pharmacy technician licensure by 10/1/15, and the ability to perform physical work involving lifting, bending, and frequent movement throughout the hospital.
