Miami Valley Hospital is hiring a part-time Certified Pharmacy Technician for varied shifts, with 64 hours per pay period. The role performs pharmacy dispensing and compounding tasks under direct pharmacist supervision, including database entry, labeling, dangerous-drug handling, automated and floor-stock stocking, and non-sterile and sterile drug compounding after site-specific training. The position requires high school completion or a GED, PTCB certification, Ohio Board of Pharmacy registration or eligibility within 45 days of hire, and no prior job-related experience; hospital, long-term care, or retail experience is preferred. The technician must have strong communication, computer, pharmacy software, and basic pharmacy-calculation skills, along with flexibility for scheduling and mentorship of new coworkers.
