Description
The Certified Pharmacy Technician will work under the direct supervision of a pharmacist at Miami Valley Hospital North in a PRN/support capacity. Responsibilities include entering and retrieving patient information, preparing and affixing labels, stocking and dispensing dangerous drugs, counting and pouring medications, non-sterile and sterile compounding after required training, restocking automated dispensing systems, delivering medications to patient care areas, monitoring inventory, and performing minor pharmacy equipment maintenance. The role requires PTCB certification, Ohio Board of Pharmacy registration or eligibility within 45 days of hire, a high school diploma or GED, and no prior job-related experience; hospital, long-term care, or retail experience is preferred.
