Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is hiring a full-time Inpatient Pharmacy Technician in Training in Norfolk, Virginia. The rotating 8-hour shift runs from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., with occasional overnight coverage and every-other-weekend work. The role performs medication care delivery and dispensing, supplies management, patient information processing, quality assurance, and pharmacy equipment operation under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist or licensed independent practitioner. Applicants need a high school diploma or equivalent, enrollment in an approved pharmacy technician training program or Guild Program, and certification as a technician-in-training within 30 days of hire. Previous pharmacy experience is preferred. The base pay is $21.15–$32.72 per hour, with additional compensation and benefits available.
