Description
The Pharmacy Technician 2 supports pharmacists in preparing, dispensing, delivering, storing, and managing pharmaceutical supplies for inpatient and outpatient services. Responsibilities include handling and labeling medications, maintaining inventory, managing automated dispensing cabinets, handling controlled substances, triaging medication-related calls, navigating electronic medical records, and complying with USP 795 and USP 797 requirements. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, active PTCB certification, and an active Registered Pharmacy Technician license; pharmacy technician experience, computer skills, and the ability to multitask and work independently are desired. The position is based in Norwalk, Connecticut and pays $18.13 to $34.50 per hour.
