Description
The Certified Pharmacy Technician receives and verifies prescriptions, enters prescription and insurance information, retrieves medications, labels and dispenses prescriptions, assists with medication preparation, handles customer transactions, maintains inventory and pharmacy supplies, and supports pharmacy operations. The role requires a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and PTCB certification, and is performed under the direct supervision of the pharmacist on duty.
