Description
The Pharmacy Customer Service Advocate supports members, providers, and pharmacies by answering eligibility, claim-status, precertification, and coverage questions through phone, fax, email, and mail. The role interprets plan documents, determines eligibility, maintains records, resolves issues, escalates complex matters, and improves customer-service processes. It requires a high school diploma or equivalent, PBM experience, at least two years of customer-service or claims experience in the health insurance industry, knowledge of medical and pharmaceutical terminology, and familiarity with telecommunication systems and electronic documentation software. The position is hybrid, requires training during the first 90 days, and pays $44,000 per year.
