Description
The Pharmacy Technician supports the daily operation of a pharmacy and warehouse, including receiving, entering prescriptions, picking, counting, labeling, packing, tracking inventory, handling prescription drugs and hazardous materials, and maintaining safe and organized work areas. The role works under the supervision of a pharmacist located in another facility, interacts with veterinarians and pharmacists, documents discrepancies, and meets performance metrics. Required qualifications include pharmacy technician certification through PTCB or NHA, at least six months of pharmacy experience, computer and communication skills, attention to detail, English proficiency, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
