Description
Amazon Leo is hiring a Phased Array DSP & Digital Beamforming Architect for its Payload Architecture team in San Diego. The role owns the digital and DSP architecture for phased-array satellite payloads, including digital beamforming, DPD and CFR, fronthaul, high-speed SerDes, backend throughput, capacity allocation, redundancy, radiation mitigation, and on-orbit performance. The architect partners with silicon, communication systems, software, systems, hardware, antenna, calibration, thermal, power, mechanical, and reliability teams, and works hands-on through integration, testing, and production. The position requires a master's degree in electrical or computer engineering, at least seven years of digital design and phased-array DSP or high-speed digital experience, and relevant simulation and RF measurement experience. The base salary is 159,200–215,300 USD annually, with medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
