Description
The University of Applied Sciences Mannheim is seeking a PhD Candidate (m/f/d) for a project-based cooperative doctorate in the Faculty of Process and Chemical Engineering, starting 1 January 2027 or at the earliest possible date. The project develops an energy-efficient reactor concept for ozonation of municipal wastewater, with duties including experimental setup, laboratory reactor testing, measurement and control engineering, data analysis, CFD comparison, modeling, publications, student supervision, and project coordination. The role requires a relevant M.Sc., strong German and English skills, laboratory experience, and knowledge of numerical mathematics and data analysis; CFD modeling is advantageous. The position is at EG 13 TV-L level 70% (27.65 hours per week) with a salary of €41,426.89–€59,023.89 per year and an initial term of two years.
