CNRS is hiring a full-time PhD candidate in computer graphics and thermal simulation for infrared rendering, working on the MC-OP project with IRIT and LAPLACE. The research focuses on reformulating probabilistic models at solid interfaces to address biases in thermal-path Monte Carlo methods, including nonlinearities and trapped paths. The position is a three-year fixed-term contract in Toulouse, France, with a gross salary of at least €2,300 per month.
