HELMA is seeking a PhD candidate to join their Research Institute for Light Technology and Mechatronics (L-LAB) in the field of automotive lighting. The successful applicant will focus on developing lighting-engineering concepts aimed at optimizing human perceivability of objects in road traffic. This involves conceptualizing perception-oriented light distribution designs, modeling human perception, integrating sensor-based information, testing lighting systems, conducting experimental validations, and engaging in scientific exchanges.
