Description
The University of Applied Sciences Mannheim is seeking a PhD researcher to develop agentic AI for interactive medical image-processing applications, including segmentation, registration, data fusion, and report generation. The project focuses on LLM-based AI agents that plan and coordinate workflows, with an application scenario involving 3D CT and MRI data for liver-biopsy intervention planning. The role involves independent research, interdisciplinary collaboration with M²OLIE partners, publication, and conference presentation, and requires a relevant master's or diploma, strong Python and machine-learning skills, and excellent German and English proficiency.
