DTU is hiring a PhD candidate to develop and validate AI methods for creating and reasoning over machine-readable SysML 2.0 system models and MBSE engineering knowledge. The role involves formalizing requirements, architecture, and verification, evaluating methods on real engineering cases, using local AI compute, publishing research, and supervising student projects. Candidates need prior systems engineering or practical AI-based solution experience, a two-year master's degree or equivalent, and must submit an application by 8 October 2026. The position is full-time, starts on 1 November 2026 or by mutual agreement, and lasts three years.
