Description
DTU Compute is hiring a PhD student for its Embedded Systems Engineering research section to contribute to the REGAIN-AI project, which investigates uncertainty, reliability, sustainability, and self-adaptation in AI-enabled embedded, edge, and distributed computing systems. The role involves theoretical research, model and runtime-mechanism development, proof-of-concept implementations, experimental validation, publication, teaching assistance, and collaboration with academic and industrial partners. Candidates need a two-year master's degree or equivalent, a strong academic background in relevant fields, analytical and mathematical problem-solving skills, programming and experimental-evaluation experience, and English communication skills. The scholarship is subject to academic approval, the appointment is three years, and the starting date is 1 January 2027 or soon thereafter.
