Description
DTU Electro is hiring a fully funded Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Candidate to work on the theory, design, and modeling of optical properties of silicon nanostructures for quantum optics and transmission-electron-microscope experiments. The role involves numerical simulations, modal electromagnetic-field expansions, optical-cavity modeling, and possible optical-laboratory measurements, with two secondments to Humboldt University in Berlin and the Max Planck Institute in Göttingen. The three-year appointment starts on 1 January 2027 or according to mutual agreement, with a base salary of DKK 30,264.08 and a PhD supplement of DKK 1,580.90.
