Description
The PhD position develops drone-mounted sensors and field measurements of greenhouse gases and ozone-depleting substances, quantifies facility-scale emissions, and integrates results with the EURAD-IM chemistry transport model. The work is based at Forschungszentrum Jülich in Jülich, Germany, and is limited to three years. Applicants should have an MSc in a relevant field, strong experimental or modelling skills, and preferably experience with drones, GC systems, or trace gas observations; Python programming is helpful. The position offers flexible working, health and development support, and TVöD-Bund pay group 13 (67.5%) remuneration.
