Description
The Clinical Laboratory Technician collects and processes clinical specimens, performs venipunctures and waived testing, registers patients, enters orders, and supports laboratory operations under general supervision. The onsite per diem role is scheduled Monday through Friday from 5:50 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., with every other Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., and may require travel within 25 miles of the base location. A high school diploma or GED is required, while 6 months to 2 years of related experience or training is preferred; BLS certification is required, and Spanish proficiency may be required depending on the service location.
