Description
The Clinical Laboratory Assistant/Phlebotomist performs phlebotomy, blood processing, specimen collection and labeling, patient identification, insurance and billing coordination, laboratory reporting, inventory, quality assurance, and patient-care duties. The role reports to the Clinical Laboratory Manager and requires current phlebotomy certification, one year of phlebotomy experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, laboratory software knowledge, strong computer and communication skills, and at least 200 documented successful blood draws.
