The Phlebotomist collects venous and capillary blood specimens, verifies patient identity, labels and transports samples, documents information, resolves specimen issues, and collaborates with healthcare team members. The role requires 0–2 years of phlebotomy experience, knowledge of infection control and laboratory procedures, strong communication and multitasking skills, and the ability to perform blood collection across all age groups.
