Description
The Per Diem Laboratory Technician collects clinical specimens, performs venipunctures and waived testing, processes and transports specimens, registers patients, enters orders, and provides customer and team support. The onsite role is scheduled Monday through Friday from 5:50 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., with every other Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and includes on-call, mobile service, and travel to sites within 25 miles. A high school diploma or GED is required, while 6 months to 2 years of related experience or training is preferred; American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification is required, with certification provided if needed.
