Sunset Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is hiring a per-diem Phlebotomist in Boonville, New York, at $21 per hour depending on experience. The role collects and processes blood specimens through venipuncture and fingersticks, prepares and explains procedures to residents, verifies and labels specimens, documents and transports samples, maintains laboratory supplies and equipment, and collaborates with physicians, nursing staff, and laboratory personnel. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, prior phlebotomy experience, and phlebotomy certification; an associate's degree, CPR certification, and experience with an elderly population are preferred.
