Northwestern Medicine is hiring a part-time Phlebotomist for a 30-hour-per-week client-site role in Rogers Park, Chicago. The position requires availability Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and Friday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., and involves venipuncture, specimen processing, order entry, patient communication, laboratory clerical work, and compliance with safety and quality procedures. Applicants need a high school diploma or equivalent and either nationally recognized phlebotomy certification, phlebotomy school or medical institution training, at least one year of healthcare phlebotomy experience, or CMA certification; experience with a broad range of patients, specimen processing, centrifuges, EMR systems, and medical terminology is preferred.
