Description
The Phlebotomist performs venipunctures, specimen collection and processing, patient registration, data entry, EKGs, vital signs, requisition review, and other patient-care duties in a patient-care unit. The role is full-time with day, evening, or night shifts, an 8-hour flexible schedule, and weekend/holiday rotation. Candidates need graduation from an accredited medical assistant or phlebotomy program or equivalent experience, medical-terminology knowledge, current CPR certification, a valid driver's license, and customer-service communication skills; phlebotomy, EKG, computer literacy, and typing proficiency are preferred.
