Description
UW Health is hiring a part-time Phlebotomist – Weekend for a 60% FTE schedule on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 2:45 PM to 11:15 PM. The role performs standardized and specialized phlebotomy, verifies patient identification, labels specimens, receives and processes specimens, and enters laboratory orders. Candidates must complete full-time training Monday through Friday for 6 to 8 weeks upon hire. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; accredited phlebotomy training, clinical rotation, one year of phlebotomy or healthcare experience, and an ASCP-recognized phlebotomist credential are preferred. Compensation may include a $1,500 sign-on bonus and a weekend differential, with health and dental insurance and other benefits available.
