Description
The FlexStaff Phlebotomist is responsible for verifying patient, request, and specimen information; collecting blood from adult, pediatric, and infant patients; processing specimens according to established procedures; performing in-process quality control and maintaining records; monitoring patients' emotional and physiological conditions; reporting abnormalities; and completing related duties. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and either at least one year of phlebotomy experience or completion of a phlebotomy/medical assistant education program. National phlebotomy certification and laboratory computer knowledge are preferred.
