Description
The FlexStaff Phlebotomist collects and processes blood specimens from adult, pediatric, and infant patients, verifies patient and specimen information, follows quality-control procedures, maintains records, and monitors and reports abnormal patient conditions. A high school diploma or equivalent and either at least one year of phlebotomy experience or completion of a phlebotomy/medical assistant education program are required; national phlebotomy certification and laboratory computer knowledge are preferred.
