Labcorp is hiring a Phlebotomist Trainee in Phoenix, Arizona. The role includes attending a paid phlebotomy school, observing collections in a Patient Service Center or clinic, scheduling and greeting patients, assisting with registration and check-in, entering patient and billing data, verifying insurance, collecting and preparing specimens, confirming test orders, and monitoring wait times. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., subject to phlebotomy school hours. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, while medical terminology, medical office, transcription, billing, or reception experience are preferred.
